Best games for moms that all will enjoy

I know there are a lot of moms out there who probably want to try and get into games. Kids absolutely love them and I know most of you want to be a little more involved with what your kids do. So if you’re looking for the best games for mom then some of these might be a great idea for you to start off with.

For years I have gone back and forth from really enjoying games to not wanting to play them. But I think it really depends on what type of game I was playing at the time.

I have gone from one game to the next but most of these games that I have on this list are ones that I have played at some point in my life. All of the ones that I have played are ones that I have really enjoyed as well. A lot of these games are really good at dragging you in and being able to keep you there.

Quite a few of these video games have dragged me in and kept my interest for a pretty long time. I know you probably don’t want to sit there and play games for hours on end but these games are very good at making you lose time. At least that has always been the case for me.

But these games are all fun to play with your young kids and older kids.

Best games for moms such as the Sims

The Sims is actually one game on this list that I haven’t actually played. To be honest I’m not even sure why.

The Sims kind of reminds me of Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing is probably one of my favorite games so far this year. Games like The Sims give you a lot of options on being able to create your own world and I love it.

Even though The Sims is a bit of an older game I know there are still tons of people who actually still play this game. Maybe soon I’ll get this game for myself and try to see if it’s something that I may enjoy.

Maybe this is a game that you will actually enjoy. If you do there’s a chance that your kid might join in and help you with designing things.

The best games for moms and kids alike is Animal Crossing

So right now Animal Crossing is actually one of my favorite games. I love being able to design my own little island and having little islanders there.

To me, this is such a fun game and it’s not just for kids. There are tons of adults who play as well. The only thing is that the game can be a little intimidating. There’s really no guidance and you’re having to figure out how to design your island. It’s an open world that can involve a lot of creativity.

Despite that, I still love the game. I love being able to watch YouTube videos on how others set up their island. The only thing is that looking at YouTube videos on others islands can kind of discourage you if you are not a very creative person. I just love getting ideas from other people but their islands are so pretty and well put together that it can be a bit discouraging.

I would still try this game out because you can potentially have so much with it.

Little Big Planet

Little Big Planet is a game I haven’t played in a while!

This was probably my favorite game towards the end of high school and for a few years after high school. I absolutely loved this game!

To be honest Little Big Planet kind of reminds me of old-school Mario but without Mario. I guess a better way to put it is that game is a modern version of the old-school Mario. You have a little sack character who you are leveling up by basically going through these little trials on each level.

On top of that, you are able to get these new skins for your sack character to wear. So the more you level up the more you are able to customize your character.

Just Dance

So, Just Dance is one that I haven’t played. I’m actually not much of a dancer no matter if it’s supposed to be fun or not. I just never liked it and I always feel so silly even trying.

But if you’re the type of person that actually likes to dance then I really suggest maybe trying Just Dance out. This is a good way to have a little bit of fun with your kids along with getting some exercise in.

This could potentially be a fun activity to do on a daily basis. If you’re looking for a fun way to work out then this could potentially be a way for you to work that in.

This is one of the best games for moms because it will keep your interest along with your kid’s interests depending on their age.

The best games for moms or the whole family is Rock Band / Guitar Hero

Rock Band and Guitar Hero are games that I haven’t played since high school.

To be honest I do have to say that I kind of miss it. I use to play the game all of the time! I loved listening to the music that they have on there and kind of being able to play along with it.

You do not need to have any musical ability to play with this. You’re pretty much playing on fake guitars and fake drums and hitting a button when the game tells you.

Rock Band and Guitar Hero are games that I kind of like playing with other people but these are games that you can play by yourself as well.

Minecraft

Minecraft is a game that I haven’t really played. There have been a couple of times that I have tried.

For some reason, I struggle with the concept of this game. I have no idea what I’m doing or what I should be trying to do.

But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t at least try and play the game. I’m pretty sure my reasoning is that I just didn’t give the game much of a chance. I didn’t really try learning what I was supposed to be doing or learning what I should really be doing.

I’m the type of gamer who doesn’t really do any research or really learn before I start the game. I basically wing it as I’m playing it and in some games, you can’t really do that. That’s probably a bad way to be but habits are hard to break.

Minecraft is probably one of the best games for moms because kids absolutely love the game and it’s a good way to connect.

Lego Games

So there is a multitude of lego games out there. You just have to choose which one will grab your attention for the most part.

I have played quite a few Lego Games but the one I have enjoyed the most is The Harry Potter lego. Granted I haven’t really finished the game yet, but the game is a lot of fun.

There are a lot of other lego games out there that are a lot of fun and worth playing. To be honest my son actually likes playing the Batman lego game and he’s gotten pretty far in the game.

This is one game that I suggest you try first if you’re wanting to get into more serious gaming. I know lego games aren’t very serious games but they are good games to start off with though.

Lego games are one of the best games for moms because they are easy. They are great games to start off with and kids love them.

World of Warcraft

So, World of Warcraft is a game I don’t suggest playing until you have been playing games for a while. I suggest that because there is a lot you need to know about games like this.

If you have someone who plays this game then it may be a little bit different. I didn’t play games a lot when I first started and an ex actually talked me into playing. If he didn’t talk me into playing the game I don’t think I would have even given it a chance.

The only thing with World of Warcraft is that you tend to get armor after quests and things like that. Because of that, you need to learn what type of armor your character needs.

This is the only aspect of the game that actually kind of confuses me and I have a tendency to ask my husband what I should choose almost every single time!

World of Warcraft is one of the best games for moms who is a little bit on the nerdy side. This game is also great for older kids as well.

Diablo

Diablo is just like World of Warcraft. This is such a fun game to play. My husband and I use to play ALL of the time with friends.

I have to be honest I actually like playing this game a lot more on the Xbox than I do on the computer. For me I feel like it’s just easier and a lot better. But I know that’s not the case for every gamer out there.

Diablo is such a fun game though. But this is somewhat similar to World of Warcraft where you have to know what kind of armor the type of character you have can wear. But once you learn I think this is the type of game you will have a lot of fun with. At least it was for me.

After we finished with the game I caught myself still wanting to really play the game. Now that we haven’t really played the game in a long while I do kind of want to start playing the game again!

Diablo is one of the best games for moms who love the role-playing type of games. This is another that is great for older kids as well.

To me, these are some of the best games for moms. I would know because I am a mom and almost all of them are ones that I have played. Most of these games are ones that you can play with your kid when they are a little older. I say this because then they will understand the concepts a little better. Then they would be a lot more fun to play with as well.
